Deutschland ist weiterhin Europas beliebtester Veranstaltungsort f\u00fcr internationale Verbandskongresse. Insgesamt 649 Kongresse in 2012 bedeuteten 72 mehr als im Vorjahr und zum neunten Mal in Folge Platz 1 im europ\u00e4ischen Ranking der International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA). Weltweit konnte Deutschland Platz zwei hinter den USA halten. Im St\u00e4dtevergleich kam Berlin mit 172 Veranstaltungen auf Platz 3. F\u00fcr den Vergleich zieht die ICCA regelm\u00e4\u00dfig stattfindende, zwischen mindestens drei L\u00e4ndern rotierende internationale Verbandskongresse mit mindestens 50 Teilnehmern heran.<\/p>\n
